Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in the world of the television. The parents of De La Garza were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. It wasn't long before she relocated to Texas. She embarked on a profession as a physical therapist. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas and moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles such as local independent films and world-wide commercials. Despite small roles, she soon discovered her love in acting. After moving to New York, in 2001 she got her first part as a performer in the show All My Children. In the beginning of 2000, she acted tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in the year 2004 on the short drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. The character she's most well-known for is her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Her character was later seen on the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding performances in a Dramatic Television Series. On NBC's dark and dramatic show Do No Harm she played her character of Dr. Lena Solis. After only two episodes the show was canceled. Milano. She was born Italian as well as having a 10-year-old younger brother called Cory. Her family was a very traditional and religious one. Milano launched her acting career when she was seven after her babysitter joined her for an audition. The four selected girls from over 1,000 potential candidates were chosen by Milano. Milano appeared on the television in commercials as well as off Broadway productions, including a musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
